Yangthang Goemba
Yangthang Goemba, Nestled within the tranquil beauty of Haa valley lies Yangthang Goemba, a monastery steeped in history dating back to the 14th century. The Yangthang Goemba is roughly 5 km from Haa located at Yangthong village. The temple is worth visiting, especially if you are heading on the Saga La trek. Just before you enter the valley you pass the App Chhundu Pang ceremonial ground, which until recently was used for annual yak sacrifices to the local deity App Chhundu.
