Duenmang Tsachu

Duenmang Tsachu, also known as Duenmang Hot Spring, is a natural hot spring located in Zhemgang district, Bhutan. It is perhaps one of the least known hot springs in Bhutan, because of its geographical location. Situated on an 2 hour walk from Praling on theTingtibi-Panbang highway along the cliff that precariously hangs over the Mangdechhu river. Amidst lush forests and scenic landscapes, Duenmang Tsachu is renowned for its therapeutic mineral waters and tranquil surroundings, making it a popular destination for both locals and tourists seeking relaxation and rejuvenation.

Upon reaching Duenmang Tsachu, visitors are greeted by natural pools of hot mineral water, renowned for their therapeutic properties. The mineral-rich waters are believed to have healing benefits for various ailments like Gastritis,piles,headache,joint and body ache.People from all over the country flock to the hot spring at this season of the year with hope to heal both physically and Spiritually.

In 2016 a three storey guest house was constructed by Zhemgang Forest Division for the convinence of the general public visiting the Tshachu which offers basic facilities such as changing rooms and simple accommodations for those who wish to stay overnight and fully immerse themselves in the rejuvenating experience. The hot spring is not just a place for relaxation but also serves as a cultural and social gathering spot, where locals and travelers can connect over the shared enjoyment of nature’s gifts.
