On Day 2, enjoy a thrilling excursion to Tsangu Lake, located at an altitude of 12,310 feet, where you can witness its stunning changing colors and spectacular views of snow-capped peaks. After visiting Baba Mandir, a shrine dedicated to the legendary soldier, Harbhajan Singh, head back to Gangtok for some leisure time to relax or explore the town further. The following day, you’ll transfer to Darjeeling, the “Queen of the Hills,” where a scenic drive through lush tea estates will introduce you to its natural beauty and vibrant culture.
Day 4 offers a mesmerizing start with an early morning visit to Tiger Hill, where you’ll witness the sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga, one of the highest peaks in the world. After visiting iconic spots like Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop, head back for breakfast before departing for NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport. Day 01: Arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB (Bagdogra Airport) – Transfer to Gangtok
Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, our representative will greet you and assist you with your transfer to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Located at an altitude of 5,500 feet, Gangtok offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The scenic drive will take approximately 4 hours (125 km), passing through charming hilltop villages, tea gardens, and lush landscapes. After arrival, check into your pre-booked hotel, unwind, and enjoy your evening at leisure. You can explore the local markets, enjoy the cool mountain air, or visit the famous MG Road, a bustling shopping street.

Day 02: Tsangu Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion
After a hearty breakfast, prepare for an exciting excursion to Tsangu Lake (also known as Changu Lake), which is located at an altitude of 12,310 feet and offers spectacular views of the snow-capped mountains surrounding it. The lake is famous for its changing colors throughout the year, especially in winter when it freezes. Your journey will begin around 7:00 to 7:30 AM. After spending some time by the lake, head towards Baba Mandir, dedicated to Sepoy Harbhajan Singh, a revered soldier who served in the Indian army. The shrine is situated at an altitude of about 13,000 feet and is believed to have spiritual significance among the locals.
After visiting the temple, return to Gangtok and enjoy the rest of your evening free to explore the town or relax at your hotel.

Day 03: Transfer to Darjeeling – Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and proceed towards Darjeeling, a beautiful hill station known as the “Queen of the Hills.” The drive will take around 4.5 hours (104 km), offering scenic views of the lush tea estates and charming villages along the way. Upon arrival, check into your hotel in Darjeeling, enjoy a delicious lunch, and then head out to explore the town. Visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, where you can learn about the history of mountaineering in the region. Next, visit the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), home to rare species like the Red Panda, Tenzing Rock, where you can try rock climbing, and the Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sundays), which showcases Tibetan culture and crafts.
Other attractions include the Tea Garden (outer view), Darjeeling Ropeway, Japanese Temple, Ava Art Gallery, and the serene Peace Pagoda. After exploring these wonderful sites, you’ll have some free time to relax or wander around the Mall Road and the Chowrasta area in the evening.

Day 04: Early Morning Visit to Tiger Hill & Departure
On your last day, wake up early at 4:00 AM and head to Tiger Hill, one of the highest points in Darjeeling, to witness a stunning sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga, the third-highest peak in the world. The early morning view is truly magical as the snow-capped mountains are bathed in golden hues. On your way back to the hotel, stop at Ghoom Monastery, one of the oldest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in Darjeeling, and the Batasia Loop, an engineering marvel where the toy train loops around a spiral track with gardens and a War Memorial.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed towards NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. The drive takes around 3 hours (110 km), offering you one last glimpse of the beautiful landscape of Darjeeling before you head to your next destination.
